Role Overview
We are building a next-generation low-latency, real-time (streaming) market data platform to support advanced trading and analytics use cases. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will
collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and operations teams to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensure the successful
delivery of high-quality market data services. This role requires a deep understanding of real-time data concepts, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in financial
technology or market data environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements for realtime data solutions by engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse market data protocols (e.g., FIX, ITCH, or proprietary formats) and define mappings to standardized schemas.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, data dictionaries, and related documentation to guide development teams.
• Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and meet quality standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review sessions as part of the agile delivery process.
• Support operational readiness by contributing to documentation, data validation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between business, technology, and operations teams to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or market data platforms.
• Strong understanding of real-time data concepts, including streaming architectures, data normalization, and data quality management.
• Experience with market data protocols (e.g., FIX, ITCH, FAST, or similar).
• Familiarity with APIs, data integration methods, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python), version control tools
(e.g., Git), and agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English with strong presentation and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills
• Experience working in agile delivery frameworks and managing backlogs using tools like Jira.
• Exposure to data modeling, data lineage, and performance metrics tracking.
• Knowledge of cloud-based streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink) or market data distribution systems.
