Job Description

Our analytics client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to
join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for data
and possess exceptional technical skills to help our client analyze, manipulate,
and organize large and complex datasets. The Data Engineer will be responsible
for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure to support our
client’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the data pipeline to gather, process, and store large,
    complex datasets.
  • Develop robust and scalable data architectures to support our client’s analytics
    needs.
  • Collaborate with the data science and analytics teams to identify and
    understand data requirements for various projects.
  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and integration to ensure accuracy and
    consistency.
  • Design and implement data models to support data analysis and reporting.
    – Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, system performance, and other related
    issues.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval.
  • Implement security measures to protect data privacy and maintain compliance
    with industry regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data engineering and
    recommend suitable tools and techniques to improve processes.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
